10' wide paved woodland trail; one steep slope at a boardwalk section. 0.85 miles. The trail connects directly to the Town-owned Merritt's Pasture open pedestrian space area.

- Parking Information: Parking is available at a parking lot off Fordham Blvd (NC54) going eastbound. Evening hours for access to the lot changes with the season: From November through February 7:00 am - 6:30 pm. From March through October, 6:00 am - 9:00 pm.
