There are several Memorial Day Weekend activities in Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Hillsborough, May 26-29, 2017.  Below are various events taking place over those four days.  Memorial Day is a Day of Remembrance.  On Saturday and Monday there are events including placing flags to mark veteran's gravesites to a special Memorial Day Service. Don't forget the groundbreaking of the Orange County Veterans Memorial on Monday May 29 at 3 pm.
