Carrboro Music Festival 2025
The Carrboro Music Festival returns in 2025, turning the entire town into one big stage. With over 100 local artists across 20+ venues, the event transforms streets, parks, coffee shops, and libraries into a multi-genre celebration of music, culture, and community.

Festival Dates and Overview
The festival begins Saturday, September 27, 2025, with an Open Mic event at the Town Commons from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the full festival kicks off at 1:00 p.m. across Carrboro with more than 20 venues hosting performances throughout the day. Venues include Cat’s Cradle, Lanza’s Café, The ArtsCenter, Drakeford Library Complex, and more.
Additionally, free educational workshops will be offered starting at 10:00am at the Century Center and other locations. These include learning about Synthesizers, Recording, Accordions and more! (Note, some workshops require registration and have limited availability).
