Carrboro

CARRBORO

Carrboro is the town just west of Chapel Hill. With a population of just over 21,000 Carrboro is the kind of small southern town where you can come as you are and everyone is welcome.

HISTORY

ARTSCENTER AND CAT’S CRADLE

Two iconic institutions, the Cat's Cradle and The ArtsCenter which began in 1963 and 1974 respectively have drawn top performers to the area for years.

WEAVER STREET MARKET

Carrboro, more than anything else, is a community. The 'Weave' as it's known around town brings people together for food and live music during the warmer months.

GOOD EATS AND CLUBS

Carrboro is a walking town; from The Weave, you can go anywhere and find a diverse selection of dining options and social clubs.

FARMER’S MARKET

Created in 1977, the Carrboro Farmers’ Market was one of the earliest markets to link farmers directly with their customers. New York Times featured book, Serious Eats, lists the Carrboro Farmers' Market as number five on the list of Best Farmers Markets in the country.
