CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Savannah Bananas will be coming to the University of North Carolina's Kenan Stadium as one of its sites for the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour during the 2026 Banana Ball City Selection Show, held Thursday night.
The Savannah Bananas will take on the Texas Tailgaters in two games on April 11 and 12. This will mark the Bananas' first appearance in Kenan Stadium, which has hosted international soccer games each of the last three summers.
"We're thrilled to welcome the world-famous Savannah Bananas to Chapel Hill," Deputy Athletic Director Rick Barakat said. "Combining the Bananas' innovation and excitement with the storied tradition of Kenan Stadium will create an unforgettable experience for fans across the state and beyond. The Bananas have redefined fan engagement in sports, and we can't wait to see them take the field on campus at UNC this spring."
Fans must join the ticket lottery list by Oct. 31, 2025, in order to have the opportunity to purchase tickets.
