Taste of the South Magazine Features Chapel Hill as a Food Lover's Getaway

Writer Nancy Floyd and photographer Jen McDonald spent 3-days in March 2018 visiting Chapel Hill, NC, home of the country's oldest public university.  "Marked by both an eclectic edge and a genteel hospitality, the inviting hamlet beckons you in with its Southern charm and entices you to stay with its unapologetic individuality," writes Floyd in the July/August 2018 issue of Taste of the South Magazine. 

The article, "Where the Locals Love to Eat - 9 Places that hit the spot" is a 10-page spread with dining suggestions and beautiful photography of Lantern, Crook's Corner, The Root Cellar, Carolina Coffee Shop, Al's Burger Shack, Merritt's Grill, Elaine's on Franklin, The Crunkleton and the Chapel Hill Creamery as a Meet the Makers feature. The Carolina Inn was highlighted as where to stay on your visit.
