16th Annual North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, February 1-14. DSI Comedy Theater in Chapel Hill, NC showcases performances in standup, sketch, and improv comedy.  It is the largest festival of its kind in the southern United States.
Piedmont Farm Tour, April 23-24.   20th annual tour includes nearly 40 fours opened to the public designed to connect farmers and consumers.

Chapel Hill Spring Garden Tour, April 30-May 1.  Visit beautiful private and public gardens and in Chapel Hill, NC.

The 15th Annual 10 By 10 in the Triangle, July 8-24.  An international festival of new, ten-minute plays.  10 Actors, 10 Directors, 10 Minutes, 10 By 10 at The ArtsCenter in Carrboro, NC.

17th Giant Puppet Pageant, August 5-September 5. Paperhand Puppet Intervention’s annual summer festival weekends in historic Forest Theatre on UNC campus.

10th Annual Celebration of the Automobile Racers Reunion and Car Show, September 23-24.  Benefits Occoneechee-Orange Speedway in Hillsborough, NC, one of the last remaining tracks from NASCAR'S inaugural 1948.

Carrboro Music Festival, September 24-25.  19th annual Festival features all types of music by 180 performing acts at 25 indoor or outdoor venues throughout downtown Carrboro.

7th Annual TerraVITA Food & Drink Festival.  September 28-October 1. 4-day Chapel Hill food festival featuring chefs, food artisans and beverages dedicated to excellence and sustainability in the South.

11th Annual Carrboro Film Festival.  November 19-20. Two-day festival featuring workshops and more than 40 films.

19th Annual Twelve Days of Christmas. December 1-December 31.  The Carolina Inn is festively adorned for the holidays with enchanting decorations based on the traditional song, The Twelve Days of Christmas.  Self-guided tours, festive meals, breakfast with Santa, cookie decorating, holiday teas and a display of wonderful gingerbread houses.
