Chapel Hill, NC - (February 23, 2021) – The Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau has published its 2019-20 annual report, highlighting the bureau’s activities and finances for the fiscal year.
This report to stakeholders features a state of tourism letter from the executive director, looks at the economic impact of tourism on Orange County and highlights community partnerships and the bureau’s financial budget. Read about activities in sales, communications and ways the Visitors Bureau markets the destination through advertising, social media and public relations.
After the state of emergency declaration and the stay at home orders began in March 2020 due to COVID-19 in North Carolina and Orange County, the Visitors Bureau’s message pivoted to a safety focus and helping our hospitality industry impacted by the pandemic throughout the year.
