Chapel Hill, NC – (September 19, 2017) - The Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau won a Platinum Destination Marketing Achievement Award at the 2017 NC Tourism Leadership Conference hosted by the North Carolina Travel Industry Association. The Visitors Bureau won the Platinum Award for Best Advertising, the highest award for that category, for Bureau’s first ever summer television commercial which debuted in late spring of this year.
