Chapel Hill, NC – (January 7, 2020) - To meet the growing number of inquiries about the neighborhoods throughout Orange County, North Carolina, the Visitors  Bureau has published a new updated 48-page magazine style publication featuring the locales of Orange County, from Carrboro to Hurdle Mills, Hillsborough and Northside.

The publication will be distributed through the Visitors Center, local real estate offices and government and commerce.

As the Triangle population increases and more families visit and invest in Orange County, the Visitors Bureau is committed to providing comprehensive information in one publication.

The cover features Jonathan Byrd and The Pickup Cowboys.   Byrd is a preacher's son, a Gulf War veteran, and an award-winning songwriter from Chapel Hill, NC, known for literary, outsider songs that have become campfire favorites. The group plays every Wednesday night at the Kraken, outside of Carrboro.

The guide was designed by Sallie Scharding of Sallie Scharding Design. “Designer+” identifies her multi-facetted abilities across print, digital, web, photography, brand, motion graphics combined with her strong marketing acumen. Over the years, Sallie has worked with a variety of clients from Fortune 100 to local musicians and artists creating memorable brands and marketing materials.  In her spare time Sallie is also a musician, vocalist and songwriter who was a co-founder of the NC Songwriters Cooperative.
