Visiting Spring Haven Farm is always an adventure for people of all ages.But In February, baby goats 🐐 are especially looking cute and ready for snuggles and hugs. ❤️ Valentine with Goats runs through February 18th. Imagine the photo ops you’ll get while holding those cute little baby goats! A special BAAHlentine's Date Package is available for the 21+ crowd on February 10th for anytime during 10 am - 5 pm. Activities include treat bags for the animals, tokens for Durty Bull Brewing Co. an activity such as axe -throwing (several activities to choose from), and a card full of questions to discuss with your date!
Love is Written in the Stars
Head over to the Morehead Planetarium for a special showing of Carolina Skies: Valentine’s Day Edition. “There will be strange, fantastical, romantic, and tragic tales that shaped the way we see the constellations, and might just change the way you see that special someone. Ever lay down at night to watch the stars with someone you love? That’s nothing compared to a guided tour of the whole universe, from the comfort of our reclining chairs.” Four showings on February 10th: 4:30 pm & 6:00 pm; February 14th: 7:00 pm & 8:30 pm. Note - this special edition always sell out!
Valentines Day Flower Pot Class
Paint your own flower pot, plant your flower! Eno River Farms provides all the materials. $35. February 10th from 10 am - 1 pm. While there, try their new ice cream flavor, Cherry Fudge. Cherry ice cream with cherry chunks and fudge swirl 🍒 add whipped cream, heart sprinkles, and a cherry on top to make a valentine’s themed sundae 🍦❤️
Westend Valentine's Bazaar
Feel the love while you shop handmade crafts and creations from several talented local makers, get face painting, fairy hair, and mehndi from Sparkle Body Arts, and enjoy awesome eats and drinks at one of the many phenomenal neighboring restaurants, cafés, and bars, as well as hot Carrboro Coffee Roasters beverages on site! The Bazaar is happening on Sunday, February 11th from 12 to 5 PM at the 427 West Franklin Street Lot between The Lantern and The Cat Tales Cat Cafe in Chapel Hill! RSVP and bring a friend or three!
