Ron’s favorite go-to local restaurant is the Fiesta Grill which has been serving great Mexican food for more than a decade in Orange County. His favorite dish on the menu is the Burrito Chile Verde.

Ron’s also frequents the thrift shop formerly known as the PTA Thrift Shop, currently called the CommunityWorx. They have 2 thrift shops in Orange County, Chapel Hill and Carrboro, which are filled with clothes, household goods and other gems. A portion of the profits of each sale goes towards their mission of funding educational and community investments in Orange County.

Seeing and playing live music at the famous Cat’s Cradle is one thing Ron loves to do for entertainment. The Cat’s Cradle has been the Triangle’s premier live music venue for 50 years. Having hosted bands as diverse as Nirvana, Public Enemy, John Mayer, Joan Baez, and Iggy Pop, the Cat’s Cradle is a must-stop venue for premier music acts over the past several decades. The Cat’s Cradle is temporarily closed, but locals can’t wait for it to re-open!
