The Kenan Center located on the University of North Carolina campus provides three meeting rooms with flexible layouts and adjacent lobby for receptions and breaks.  The Amphitheater-style conference room will seat up to 150 attendees.  Kenan dining room will host up to 190.  For an elegant small-scale reception the  Kenan Lounge is the perfect room to entertain your guests.

  • Description Named for a family known for its philanthropic support of the University of North Carolina, the Kenan Center was made possible by a gift from. The William Rand Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust. Completed in 1986, the building houses the Trust and the William R. Kenan, Jr. Funds as well as the Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise. The Kenan Center blends contemporary architecture and classical features surrounded by colorful seasonal plantings and expansive terraces. The five stories of brick banded by Indiana limestone contains 60,000 sq. ft. of light-filled interior space.
