LUNCHBOX Talk: Climate Change, Plants, Bugs, and Birds: Interconnections in Your Own Backyard with Allen Hurlbert, Associate Professor of Biology, UNC-Chapel Hill. Climate change is having impacts on the natural world, many of which are evident in our own backyard. We’ll discuss climate change from a bird-centric point of view, thinking about how their fate is tied to the individual responses of different plant and insect groups. Then, we'll review the many different citizen science programs that you could become involved with to help reveal these responses to climate change where you live.
