Join the Orange County Historical Museum and featured speaker Chris Holaday to virtually “bite” into local foodie history! Author and historian, Holaday will discuss the various restaurants around Orange County that generations of couples have enjoyed as date night locations. As well as providing historical information about many of Orange County’s eateries, he will also discuss how going out to eat became a social staple of dating as we know it today. This talk will be informed by research Holaday undertook for his latest book, Classic Restaurants of Chapel Hill and Orange County. This virtual event is free, with easy registration available through the museum’s website. It will also be recorded and made available to all who register.
