Hillsborough Classic Films - The Grapes of Wrath

Grapes of Wrath. On October 15th we will show Ford's Grapes of Wrath, starring Henry Fonda. As I'm sure you know, the film is based on a Steinbeck novel about the effects of the Great Depression on a family of Oklahoma sharecroppers. Our speaker will be a distinguished UNC Professor, Erik Gellman, who teaches about working-class and urban life, visual culture, and comparative social movements in modern American history.
