Gardening Victoriously: Urban Gardening

“Victory Garden,” a termed coined by George Washington Carver, is a reference to the gardens that were grown in yards and parks during World War II. At that time, these gardens provided food security to nearly 20 million people. Grow your own victory garden this spring! This workshop will have a focus on urban gardening and soils. This class will meet on UNC’s campus at the Carolina Community Garden.
