Bees in Your Neighborhood?! What Luck!

This Last Friday event will feature Master Beekeeper, C. Bee. Bee (it really is their given name) learned the craft of keeping honeybees from their father. The craft has been a family tradition handed down for generations. Now in their 60s, Bee has kept bees for over 50 years. Bee currently has only about a dozen hives, but was in charge of several hundred before they retired and scaled down. Keeping bees is not just something done for the harvest of honey. It's a privilege afforded those who care about the environment, want to learn life's lessons taught by an amazing insect, and wish to watch the connections of nature.
