Cat’s Cradle hosts Cosmic Charlie for a 2-night combo. December 30th it’s Dark Side of the Dead, a hybrid show featuring the music of both the Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd. On New Year’s Eve Ring in 2024 with Cosmic Charlie! The festive evening will include party favors, Father Time, champagne toast at midnight, and a healthy dose of Cosmic Charlie’s high energy Grateful Dead. Maybe even a few surprises! Combo ticket is $50. Tickets can be purchased separately for individual shows. Doors open at 8pm.
New Year’s Wonderland. Speakeasy in Carrboro is hosting an Alice in Wonderland themed multisensory trip down the rabbit hole! DJ Empress Play & DJ UhHuh DatsRite will be bringing the heat on the dance floor with special live performances throughout the evening. Balloon drop & complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Noon Year’s Eve at Kidzu Children’s Museum - Have a ball with Kidzu this New Years’ Eve! Bounce in and ring in 2024 Kidzu style with a twist on the traditional ball drop. They will countdown to noon and celebrate with bubbles, special activities, and all the cheer for the new year! This activity is included with museum admission. Kidzu will be open from 11am – 1pm. Advance registration is highly encouraged. Walkins will be welcome as space allows. Recommended for ages under 15 with accompanying adult
Winter Wonderland with Goats is another great option for the kiddos. Spend New Year’s Eve Day at Spring Haven Farm. Head over to the Farm Store to enjoy sweets and treats that will fill you with sugar, spice and everything nice. There are a variety of other activities to enjoy at our Winter Wonderland Farm Experience. Take a ride on the Polar Express Tractor Train, visit the goats and other barnyard animals, & play a round of targeting games. You will also enjoy the Winter Wonderland themed photo stations all over the farm, handcrafted Holiday scenes perfect for family photos and silly selfies. 10 am – 5 pm
