Orange County Historical Museum and Historic Speedway Group will be hosting a Stores and Stories event at the Big Barn Convention Center. The event will feature speakers presenting the history of the track and their memories of the races held there. Presenters include Gene Hobby, local race car driver, Frank Craig, founder of the Historic Speedway Group and Bill Blair Jr., son of NASCAR driver Bill Blair. Following the presentation, the speakers will be available for questions and provide an insider’s look at the vintage race cars parked outside. There are no admission fees. This Stores and Stories Event is sponsored by the Orange County Historical Museum, the Historic Speedway Group and the Shops at Daniel Boone Village.
