History, Mystery & BBQ: Celebrating Orange County History Through Food, Drink and Stories

  • Join the Orange County Historical Museum for a celebration of Orange County history at this family event featuring delicious food and drink from Hillsborough BBQ Company, Mystery Brewing and Bona Fide! Enjoy an open-mic Monti-style storytelling hour with N.C. Rep. Graig Meyer, Judge Beverly Scarlett and audience volunteers. Try your luck with $1 raffle tickets for fabulous prizes or a mini live auction including an epicurean event for 10 with award-winning chef Eric Gephart at Durham hotspot Kamado Grille, and a $500 painting of historic Churton Street by local artist Linda Carmel. Bring a folding chair and dine, drink and dish! Proceeds benefit the Orange County Historical Museum. Details at  Cost: $10/plate, $2-$5/beverage.
