Ever wonder what's happening in the science labs throughout UNC? Here's your chance to tour the labs, talk to the scientists and participate in a few hands-on science activities with your family and friends! The UNC Science Expo takes place on Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This free event includes exhibits, entertainment, behind-the-scenes tours of research labs, a "Small Science" play area for children and other activities. The Town of Chapel Hill is sponsoring the event's Sustainability Center and Solar Stage, with displays and demonstrations that focus on sustainability in our community. You'll find the Sustainability Center, Solar Stage, booths, exhibits, food trucks and more along Cameron Avenue on the UNC campus, between South Building and Memorial Auditorium. The UNC Science Expo is a signature event of the North Carolina Science Festival.
