  • Historian and Burwell guide Steve Peck will discuss the fascinating life of Elizabeth Hobbs Keckly, an enslaved servant of the Burwell family who went on to be a businesswoman, activist, author, and companion/confidante  of Mary Lincoln during the Lincoln Presidency.  Admission Free. Copies of Keckly's book will be available for purchase.
