The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough presents its 3rd Annual Picnic in the Park event on Monday, July 4th, at the beautiful River Park in the Historic District in downtown Hillsborough! Festivities begin with a community reading of the Declaration of Independence, followed by live music from several local bands including Commanderrs, Fireside Collective, and Magnolia Still. Families can set up their picnic blankets and enjoy lunch from one of many food trucks including Heavenly Smoke, Taco Grande, and The Parlour. There will also be an abundance of kids activities and crafts including colonial style games and crafts with the Daughters of the American Revolution. This is a FREE event and is open to the public!
