Johnny's is pleased to welcome New England Americana singer-songwriter Krista Baroni to Carrboro! Influenced by singer-songwriters of the 1960s and 1970s (think Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens), Krista brings vintage tones, acoustic guitar, emotive vocals and poetic lyrics to center stage. Krista pairs her dynamic sound with fellow singer-songwriter Ian Fitzgerald. Ian has participated in a variety of folk festivals and makes his debut at the Newport Folk Festival later this summer. The show is free to attend with donations suggested. We'll have paninis, sweets, and plenty of hot cafe drinks available!
