The Spirit of Elegant Holidays 2013: Home and Hearth Throughout the Year

Orange County Cooperative Extension will once again host its annual holiday program entitled, “The Spirit of Elegant Holidays 2013: Home and Hearth Throughout the Year.” Pre-registration is required for the reduced fee.  The early registration fee is $5.00, if paid by Thursday, October 10.  Afterwards, the fee will be $8.00. With assistance from a committee of volunteers, the program will take place twice on Thursday, October 24, at 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Hillsborough United Methodist Church, located at 130 W. Tryon Street.  This year’s program will emphasize food, crafts and decorating ideas for all seasons of the year. Participants will have the opportunity to draw for door prizes; sample convenient and healthier foods; view a variety of creative craft, gift, and decorating ideas for all skill levels; gain ideas for low-cost stocking stuffers; receive a copy of the program booklet or CD with instructions for the recipes, crafts, gifts, and décor. Registration can also be done by phone at 919.245.2053, or in person at 306 Revere Road in Hillsborough. Space is limited, so early registeration is recommended for this special event. For more information, please call Deborah Taylor at 919.245.2055.
