Visitors Bureau Honored With Two Hermes Creative Awards

Chapel Hill, NC (July 26, 2007) – The Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau has won a Platinum Hermes Creative Award for its 2007 Official Visitors Guide and a Gold Hermes Creative Award for its Welcome to Orange County DVD produced in the fall of 2006. The Platinum Hermes Creative Award is the highest honor awarded to creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media.

Hermes Creative Awards recognize outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals. The awards, chosen from 3,000 entries this year, are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. This international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and free-lance professionals.
