The Sunday Evening Jazz Series in downtown Chapel Hill is a collaboration between Wine Bar owner Jared Resnick and Jim Ketch, noted local artist and Professor of Music and Director of Jazz Studies at UNC Chapel Hill.
“We want the West End Wine Bar to be known as the place to see live jazz in Chapel Hill and the Triangle,“says Resnick. “There are so many talented musicians locally and regionally without a regular place to play. Our Sunday Evening Series will fill that need and we hope to grow it into a night local jazz fans look forward to.”
Muisic starts at 7:30 pm and admission is $4. The schedule through April 18 is below:
March
7th: Al Neese Jazz Project
14th: Jon Metzger Quartet
21st: Peter Lamb and the Wolves
28th: Jim Ketch Quartet
April
4th: Easter Monday (no show)
