The NC Comedy Arts Festival presented by the DSI Comedy Theater in Carrboro’s Carr Mill Mall features improv and standup comedy as well as two new components this year, Sketch Comedy and Film & Video.
Throughout the last decade, the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival has made Carrboro a national comedy destination. Last year, the festival boasted over 500 performers from 17 states and Canada. This year is no exception.
The schedule is Sketch Comedy Feb. 4-6, Standup Feb. 11-14, Improv Feb. 16-21 and Film & Video Feb. 25-27. Performances take place in Carrboro at DSI Comedy Theater, ArtsCenter and the Cat’s Cradle. Chapel Hill venue sites include Mansion 462, Local 506, the UNC campus and the Varsity Theatre.
