Carrboro’s Greatest Day!

The Carrboro Music Festival is Carrboro’s greatest day! Since 1998, the Music Fest has drawn loads of musicians and music lovers from all over. The players change on the 25 stages, but the sweet strains of music that fill the town are nothing short of incredible!
Nearly 50% of the nearly 175 bands are new, from Native-American flute by the Neuse River Flute Circle to music & spoken word by Mahogany Door Project, this year has something for everyone! Returning favs include Tim Smith Band, Great Big Gone & Saludos Compay.
Shuttle bus runs from noon-8pm from Carrboro Plaza.
