FRANK Art Gallery will host its 2nd Birthday party and fundraiser, OFF THE WALL, at the gallery at 109 E. Franklin Street in Chapel Hill on Saturday, April 21 at 6 pm. Last year’s gala was sold-out. 100 pieces of art will be donated by FRANK artists and other artists. Only 100 tickets are available for purchase, the same as the number of works of art, ensuring that every ticket holder will be taking a piece of fine art home. Tickets are $225 each.
When you enter the event with an art ticket, your name will be dropped in FRANK’s “hat.” After enjoying delightful food and drinks donated by generous area restaurants and chefs, the guest host WUNC’s Frank Stasio will draw names, one by one, from the hat. When your name is called, you’ll choose your new piece of original fine art, valued from over $300 to $2000! Take it home right OFF THE WALL! There will be a few surprise silent auction items, too.
A companion ticket is available for $75 with the purchase of a $225 art ticket. Your companion will enjoy the festivities, but only you choose a piece of art! The art pieces will be on display beginning April 10. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit FRANK and its educational programming, exhibits, and community outreach programs.
