Come to Chapel Hill, Carrboro or Hillsborough and watch the game as UNC takes on Villanova in the second of two games Saturday night April 4. Cheer on the Heels with fellow Tar Heel fans at Top of the Hill, Four Corners, Carolina Brewery, Tyler’s or any number of area bars and restaurants. Or if you prefer a bigger crowd, there’s a viewing party at the Dean Smith Center. Both semifinal games will be shown on a large projection screen and the arena’s video boards beginning with the first semifinal game (Michigan State vs. UConn) at 6:07 p.m. North Carolina’s game vs. Villanova is scheduled to tipoff at approximately 8:47 p.m.

UNC graduate and grad student Anoop Desai is in the Top 9 of the wildly popular America Idol Program. While at UNC he was a member of the a capella men’s group the Clef Hangers.
Last week on Idol he sang a soulful Motown ballad and continued to impress the judges. Anoop next sings tonight at 8pm on Fox.

The book “Polly and the Forbidden House” tells the tale of a young girl named Polly who loves to paint. She paints all sorts of things in Hillsborough’s historic district but can’t paint the one thing that most fascinates her because it belongs to mean old Augusta!
