The Clay Centre is a group of studios, a kiln room, a glaze-mixing room, courtyard and gallery specializing in pottery classes for teens and adults. We have well-equipped, professional studios with an emphasis on exchange among artists, collaboration and group creative energy. We are set up to encourage students of all levels to expand their creative activities within a supportive community of artists and teachers. Studios include the Red Clay Co-op, the Teaching Studio and Carolyn Doyle’s studio.

With an abundance of workspace, eight pottery wheels, three kilns, and well equipped studio and work space, this arts studio is unmatched in our community. Our programs are suitable for building children’s growth in self-expression, supporting adult career changes and/or simply serving as inspiration to artistic abilities. Our instructors are well qualified and focused on serving the community.

A paint-it-yourself ceramic place, a studio for clay sculpture classes and a gallery. Teaches summer camp, after school, winter camp and adult sculpture classes.

Since 1993. Choose from more than 20 dipping glazes, 25 underglazes and five different cone-6 clays to unleash your creative potential and maximize your fun. Other services include classes, open teaching studio, workshops and summer camps. Owners have more than 20 years experience in pottery and sculpture. including public school teaching and grants from national and local arts commissions. Serene woodland setting. Perennial gardens with native plants and some from Asia surrounding the studio are usually in bloom throughout the year.
